Love the combination of the colouring, the light, the tatty cobweb and the scruffy frame of this picture. It was taken when on holiday in Rye. We stayed in a cottage with decking down to the river where I spent all the early mornings watching the river go past. A more tranquil setting woul be hard to imagine. Saw this cobweb and knew I had to keep it - somehow - and this was the result! One of my all time favourites.
