I have a cold, and am feeling down in the dumps today because my sneezing and wheezing has scuppered our bank holiday weekend. I realise I am a grumpy not well person ... tsk! So, posting the things I am happy about will give me a swift reminder not to be miserable:
Rocking my world this week:
Two kittys sleeping in the greenhouse - snatching a few rays before the rain hammers down again. Cats sure know how to cosy!
The crazy dance of excitement that my dog does before we kick the football for him.
My adventurous parents embarking on another round of cruises this year when they're in their eighties and both had health issues. My Dad is a photographer and gives talks on the cruise ships about the famous people he's taken pictures of .... and he gets PAID for doing it .... not bad eh? Hats off Mum and Dad! After a lifetime running their own business, they deserve a bit of R&R.
Day & Night Nurse .... atchoo!
& of course, my lovely blogland friends who don't mind that I'm a snivelling wreck.... x
What's rocking your world this week?
I'm sorry you caught my cold via blogland, Now lets hope you don't catch my "turista" from my weekend in Mexico!
ReplyDeleteWhat's rockin' my world is that I'm finally feeling better from this double whammy and I got my energy back to walk to the gym for my workout and get back in the groove in the studio.
Today I'm heading back into the glass studio to make ups some more beads and it's supposed to be HOT! today. YAY!
Hope that you feel better soon. So cool about your Mum and Dad.

Ack! Make some nice, hot tea, snuggle up with the kitties and read a book you've been putting off for a while. Sending healing thoughts your way...
ReplyDeleteRocking my world: working in the garden, finished a shawl I've been working on for my aunt's 80th birthday, met up with friends for dinner last night and we caught up on all the "art stuff" everyone's been doing. Oh, and taking my baby steps into ATC land :)
A big cheer for your parents! Hope I'm as energetic in 30 years.
Take good care of yourself and feel better, Pen!
Julia

ReplyDeleteI have that beach hut stamp and I really love what you've done with it. So cheery on a grey day. I watch Barbara from Clarity Stamps brayering and it looks too complicated for me. I use my brayer for making sure stuff's stuck down LOL
