THE MOTHER MACHINE

Really couldn't say where my head was going with this tag but she wouldn't stay unmade! She kinda reminds me of the Statue of Liberty. Ages ago I punched the face on a dictionary page, along with the wings which I drew (gulp!). I'd used the punched triangles on another head-piece which I'd made previously and liked them enough to repeat them here. My friend Yvonne (ARTic Blonde Creations) had kindly sent me some German book pages which arrived today and I used for the triangles. The table along the bottom is a portion of a stamp and the swirly edge is a section of a pretty stamp. I particularly like this bit used as a border. Then, I got brae and drew the swirls and triangles as I didn't have anything resembling the shapes I wanted as stamps. The background is quite bare but it seemed to work that way so I resisted the urge to go doodling all over the place! I'm going to work with this idea some more and see if I can extend it a bit.
