CLOTH

Longingly, we remember
the gossamer swaddling
of infancy
draped against
our
tender skin.

But the
cloth we are
cut from
often
chafes
and
irritates.

With barely disguised
horror
we realise
that
suddenly
we are wearing
Worsted.
