PARIS

This is a scrapbook page I did of the trip Mal & I took to Paris in 2005 not long after we first met. I loved Paris and felt strangely comfortable and at ease there for a foreign city.
Our trip to Rodin's Sculpture Garden was an absolute highlight for me. Not only was the art spectacular but it must've been one of the most romantic spots in the city. I was in awe of the magnificence of the sculptures which were towering and hugely powerful but also very detailed and finely intricate. How it is possible to produce such works out of such a heavy medium is completely beyond my comprehension. I would go back to Paris just for Rodin's Garden - it was truly awe inspiring.
