This is the first and only thing I've made this week. It is a belated birthday card for my new found friend Alison who is coming to visit tomorrow for some crafting fun. I hope the sun will be shining here as we're making fabric paper and there's more room at the garden table. Sadly, my playroom is a craft designed for solo flight! I have the card, I have the cake and am really looking forward to getting messy.

What a great card. I really can appreciate handcrafted cards. I hope your Dad is on the mend. And good for him for not letting his age get in the way of his passion. I love the photo of your parents--the way he's looking at your mom.
